Warnings and new features for version 2.2.3
- Refer to the Vulnerability correction section of the SoftExpert Configuration component for details on the improvements implemented in this version.
- For Oracle environments, from version 2.2.3 onwards, it will be mandatory to configure the 'server', 'port', 'db', and 'tns' tags in the file of the connection with the database.
- An adjustment was implemented to optimize the application memory management in version 2.2.3, making the system more efficient in preventing outages. This improvement was also applied retroactively up to system version 2.1.9.
- There will be no more installations and updates for traditional environments from this version onwards. Only Full Docker installations will be allowed.
- From this version onwards, no application servers with Windows Server 2016, as well as new installations and updates for servers with SQL Server 2014 database, will be allowed. Regarding servers with SQL Server 2016 and 2017 databases, only updates for version 2.2.3 of SoftExpert Suite will be allowed. New installations cannot be performed.
- The ADINTERFACE table has been discontinued in this version. Integrations that use this table must be adjusted to use DIINTERFACE.
- In version 2.2.3, we officially discontinued support for authentications via NTLM, aligning the platform with modern security standards and best authentication practices.
- The Drive component was released in this version. This component is available for Cloud clients only.
- The SoftExpert Document Android application has been discontinued and replaced by the new SoftExpert Document application. Click here to access the new application.
- The cost type, expense type, and revenue type menus of the Storeroom, Time control, Project, and Training components have been discontinued. From this version onwards, all types related to monetary aspects must be recorded in the new Financial type (AD070) menu of SoftExpert Administration.
- The finance feature has been discontinued from SoftExpert Time control. Therefore, even if the cost type and revenue type menus have been migrated to the new menu, their records will no longer be usable.
