When | A revalidation is sent for approval. |
Purpose | To approve or reject a revalidation. |
See how to execute a revalidation approval:
Approving a revalidation
1. Access the My Tasks > Revalidation approval menu.
2. Select the record whose revalidation you wish to approve.
3. Click on the toolbar button.
4. In the Approved field, select Yes to approve or No to reject the revalidation.
5. In the Checklist tab, answer the questions shown with Yes, No, or N/A.
- The Checklist tab will only be displayed if there is a checklist assigned to the member of the revision route (defined in the validity configuration or in the Expired object task) who is executing the approval.
- This checklist is intended to help the responsible user when approving or rejecting the record.
- Some answers may be filled with a default option already, if they have been defined when the checklist was created.
- Adding comments may be mandatory or not, depending on the configurations set in the checklist record.
6. Use the Comment tab to provide important information referring to the revalidation approval.
When the revalidation is rejected, this tab must necessarily be filled in. In this case, an explanation for the rejection must be given.
7. In the Route tab, edit the flow of the members responsible for the revalidation approval, if you wish.
- This tab will only be displayed if the Edit the approval flow? option is checked at the moment of defining a member of the route responsible for the approval, associated with the validity configuration or with the revalidation of the process in question.
- Members who have already executed their approval task cannot be added, edited, or deleted.
- Click here for more details on editing a route.
8. Save the record. If the revalidation is rejected, it will be sent for revalidation again. If the revalidation is approved, it will become the current version of the record.
