Deactivating an external user

User icon with addition symbol that leads to the external user inclusion step, where new users are added to the system. User icon with a check symbol that leads to the external user approval step, where the approval of users who are not part of the organization is performed. User icon with a diagonal line that leads to the external user deactivation step, where external users are deactivated.

 

Prerequisites

  • Registered external user.
  • Access to the File > External user (AD060) menu.

 

Introduction

Registered external users can be deactivated, which prevents them from accessing the External user portal (CM030).

Deactivating external users 

1. Access the File > External user (AD060) menu.

2. Select the desired record and click on the "More" button.

3. Click on Change status icon. to deactivate external users.

4. Answer the question “Wish to enable/disable this record?” with OK.

5. Once this is done, the record will be disabled and will not appear on the list of results.

Reactivating external users

If you wish to reactivate a deactivated external user, follow the steps below:

1. Access the File > External user (AD060) menu.

2. In the Advanced filters, expand the Add filter icon. button and click on External user

3. In the Status field, select the Inactive option.

4. Select the record you wish to reactivate and expand the "More" button.

5. Click on Change status icon. to reactivate external users.

6. Answer the question “Wish to enable/disable this record?” with OK.

7. Once this is done, the record will be reactivated.
