How conditions work
Prerequisite
- Access to the Business rule (BR001) menu.
Introduction
When creating a business rule, after setting the triggers, we can specify their conditions.
Conditions are criteria added in order for the rule to be executed. That is, the rule will be executed only if the set parameters are complied with.
They are related to the triggers and vary according to them.

How conditions work
1. Access the Business rule (BR001) menu.
2. Select the component and choose the desired trigger.
3. In the next step, answer the question "Do you wish to add a condition?" with Yes.
4. Fill in the displayed field with a condition. See the available conditions below:
SoftExpert Audit
The triggers of this component have four available conditions for audits:
- ID #: The rule will be activated only if the audit ID # is the specified one.
- Title: The rule will be activated only if the audit title is the specified one.
- Category: The rule will be activated only if the audit category is the specified one.
- Step: The rule will be activated only if the audit step is the specified one.
SoftExpert Configuration
There are no conditions for the trigger of this component.
SoftExpert Document
The trigger of this component has only one condition available for documents:
- Category: The rule will be activated only if the document category is the specified one.
SoftExpert Kanban
The triggers of this component have seven conditions available for tasks:
- ID #: The rule will be activated only if the task ID # is the specified one.
- Title: The rule will be activated only if the task title is the specified one.
- Current step: The rule will be activated only if the current step of the task is the specified one.
- New step: The rule will be activated only if the new step of the task is the specified one.
- Workspace: The rule will be activated only if the task workspace is the specified one.
- Priority: The rule will be activated only if the task priority is the specified one.
- Task type: The rule will be activated only if the task type is the specified one.
SoftExpert Training
The triggers of this component have fifteen available conditions:
- Path: The rule will be activated only if the path is the specified one.
- Path type: The rule will be activated only if the path type is the specified one.
- Course: The rule will be activated only if the training course is the specified one.
- Course type: The rule will be activated only if the training course type is the specified one.
- Attendance: The rule will be activated only if the training attendance is the specified one.
- Participant department: The rule will be activated only if the training participant's department is the specified one.
- Participant: The rule will be activated only if the training participant is the specified one.
- Participant position: The rule will be activated only if the training participant's position is the specified one.
- Result: The rule will be activated only if the training result is the specified one.
- Score: The rule will be activated only if the training score is the specified one.
- Training: The rule will be activated only if the training is the specified one.
- Workload: The rule will be activated only if the training workload is the specified one.
- Instructor: The rule will be activated only if the training instructor is the specified one.
- Instructor department: The rule will be activated only if the training instructor's department is the specified one.
- Instructor position: The rule will be activated only if the training instructor's position is the specified one.
SoftExpert Workflow
The triggers of this component have two available conditions:
- Activity ID #: The rule will be activated only if the activity ID # is the specified one.
- Process: The rule will be activated only if the process is the specified one.
