Issuing a request

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Execution > Request issuance (SR003) menu.
  • Previously configured request type.
  • "Add" permission granted to the user in the request type, with private security.

Introduction

The Request issuance (SR003) menu allows for issuing requests aimed at the execution of multiple services.

Services refer to operations that can be performed by objects from other SoftExpert Suite components, such as document printing, project creation, item or supply revision, among others.

It is important to highlight that the object type to which the operation will be applied is defined in the request type, ensuring that the requested service is correctly targeted and executed.

In this step of the flow, a document print request will be issued, continuing the development of the example.

The actions of the Print and Calibration record operations are enabled in the Object tab only after the request data is saved for the first time.

In order for the item or supply to be available for selection in the order request, it must have gone through the following steps:

1. Access the SoftExpert Supplier > File > Supplier (SL001) menu and create a new supplier.

2. Access the item definition menu (IT011) or the supply definition menu (SU008) and create a new record.

3. Select a responsible team of which your user is part.

Conclusion

Once the covered steps are followed, the request will be issued successfully! The next step consists of tracking the execution of the service.

If approval is configured, prior to the execution step, the responsible party will evaluate whether the issuance is ready to move on. In this sense, the request may return to this step in order to be adjusted. After this process, the issuance will be approved and sent for execution as usual.
