Closing an audit
This article is valid for the new Audit (AU001) unified menu in system version 3.0.

Prerequisites
- Access to the Audit (AU001) menu.
- Closure step configured in the category.
- Audit with finished execution.
Introduction
Once an audit has its execution finished, it goes through the closure step, if said step has been enabled in its category.
The party responsible for this step, defined in the category, will be able to check if the audit has been duly carried out and then close it.
See how to perform this operation:
Closing an audit
1. Access the Audit (AU001) menu.
2. Locate the audit you want to end and right-click on it.
3. Select the Open data option.
4. On the Audit data screen, in Closure, fill in the Actual end date field.
5. Click on the Send to next step button and confirm.

Closure can also be performed through the Audit closure to-do task.
