Creating rewards

Prerequisites

  • Created reward type.
  • Access to the Reward (GM004) menu.

Introduction

After configuring the reward type, we will be able to create the rewards that will be acquired in the store.

Rewards can be products, prizes, tickets, and other objects that symbolize an employee's continuous effort.

See how to perform this operation below:

Creating rewards

1. Access the Reward (GM004) menu.

2. Click on the toolbar button to add a new reward.

3. On the screen that will open, select the desired Reward type

4. On the general reward data screen, insert an ID # and a Name.

5. Define the score necessary for the reward redemption in the store.

In this step, the name of the field varies depending on the nomenclature of the defined score. The field will be “X necessary for redemption in the store”, where “X” represents the name of the score. To change the score nomenclature, access the SoftExpert Gamification general parameters article and learn more.

6. In the Product description in the store field, describe the reward.

7. In the Quantity section, define how many units of this reward will be available in the Quantity field. Rewards can also be requested on demand; simply enable the Quantity per demand option.

8. In the Actual value section, enter the cost of the product in the Value field.

9. If you wish, add an image to the reward using the box available in the general data.

Score suggestion

On the general reward data screen, it is possible to suggest a score. To do so, simply click on the "X" suggestion button, where "X" represents the score name defined in the general parameters.

The button suggests the cost in points of the reward and is located next to the button mentioned at step 5.

The score suggestion is based on the calculation of the total points achievable through the challenges, added to the actual value of the products registered in the store as rewards.

The suggestion options are: Easy, Moderate, and Hard. The Hard option, for example, indicates that the reward requires more points to be redeemed.

This way, it is ensured that the cost of the rewards is aligned with the challenges and other registered rewards.

Conclusion

Thus, we have created the rewards in order to redeem them in the store through the Portal (GM005) menu. To learn how to use the SoftExpert Gamification Portal, click here.
