Introduction
SoftExpert Training features several view menus. However, two of them were created only to show the training needs of employees and their performance in mapped courses.
The View > Employee: Position courses (TR015) menu tracks the mappings done for the employees registered in the system. The list of records displays the employees, the department to which they belong, and the position they hold, grouping their mapped courses and paths.
The View > Employee: TNA X employee matrix (TR039) menu allows for viewing a matrix identifying an employee's training needs and development with associated courses.
See below how to use these menus:
Viewing position courses
1. Access the View > Employee: Position courses (TR015) menu.
2. In the Search filters panel, click on the Select department button.
3. On the screen that will open, select the desired department and click on the Apply button. Inactive departments can be viewed as well through the Group by field.
4. In the list of records, expand the section containing the department's employees to view the courses mapped for them.
5. Select the desired course and expand the button. See the available options:
- View data: it allows for viewing course mapping data.
- View employee profile: it allows for viewing employee profile data. Access the Managing employee profiles article and learn more.

Display: check the options that will be shown in the matrix, which may be course and/or document.
Status: check the options corresponding to the statuses that you wish to view in the matrix. In the Display field, if only the "Document" option is checked, some statuses will not be enabled.
Group by: check the options to organize the list of records by mapped courses or by departments/positions.
Show complementary status: check this option so that, in addition to the checked statuses, the system also displays other statuses related to the course. This option can only be edited if the Status field is filled in or if the selected vision is Organizational.
Only mapped courses: check this option so that only mapped courses are considered for viewing. This option cannot be edited if the selected vision is Per process.
Training permission only: check this option so that only employees with "Training" control allowed in the documents are considered for viewing. This option will only be available if the "Document" option is checked in the Display field.
4. If you wish, filter the records by department through the Select department field. Inactive departments can be viewed through the Group by field. Select the desired department and click on Apply to filter.
5. After clicking on Search, view the employees and their departments/positions on the list of records.
6. The columns shown will have the names of the courses mapped for the employees and will be filled with icons representing the employee's status as to the course.
7. If you wish, you can also see the mapped courses by hovering the mouse over the columns.
8. The third quadrant has rows and columns organized according to the list of records. Use it to view the number of users with the statuses in the mapped courses or documents. That is, how many users are unqualified for the course, how many have not been evaluated, how many have training under execution, etc.
9. After selecting an employee, click on the button to view their profile. Access the Managing employee profiles article and learn more.
