Executing the publication acknowledgment
As of version 3.0 of the system, the Execution > Publication acknowledgment (DC017) menu no longer exists.
Prerequisites
- Document created in a category with electronic copy distribution configured.
- User configured as addressee.
- Access to the Task center > Acknowledgment > Publication acknowledgment menu or to the task notification e-mail.
Introduction
The electronic copy feature allows the documents from a given category to have their electronic files shared through the Publication acknowledgment task.
Thus, the users defined in the category will receive an electronic copy of the files.
After receiving the task with the copy, the users must execute it. See how to perform this operation:
Executing the publication acknowledgment
1. Access the task from one of the following locations:
- Task center > Acknowledgment > Publication acknowledgment
- Task notification e-mail, through the Confirm acknowledgment button.
2. Locate the task and hover the mouse over its card.
3. Expand the more options button and click on View electronic file. Via e-mail, this operation can be performed through the View button.
If, in the "Require electronic file to be viewed when releasing tasks" field of the general parameters, the "Publication acknowledgment" option is checked, it is mandatory to view the electronic file before executing the task.
4. Again on the main screen, click on
in the task card.
5. In the Comment field, write something relevant about the publishing of the document. This feature will only be available if enabled in the document category.
6. In the Comments tab, view the other comments made on the document, as well as the users who provided them, the time, and the activity through which the comments were added.
7. Check the I declare I have read the document option, if the reading requirement is configured in the category.
8. After performing the desired operations, click on Run.

Conclusion
All done! The publication acknowledgment of the electronic file of the document has been executed.
