Process an electronic protocol

This topic will teach you how to process an electronic protocol after its creation.

To this end, simply follow the steps below:

 

1st step: Dispatch an electronic protocol

Once the electronic protocol is created, it can be dispatched to its destination.

To do that, still in the PT003 menu, search for and select the previously created electronic protocol. In this case, the one with the "SUP-ELECTR01" ID #.

Click on More > Dispatch protocol.

On the screen that will be opened, enter 12/31/2022 in the Deadline field.

Enter "Start of the electronic protocol processing" in the Comments field.

Click on the button on the side toolbar.

On the screen that will be opened, select the "User" option in the Access type field.

Then, search for and select your user to be the dispatch destination.

Click on the button on the destination selection screen and on the dispatch data screen.

All done. The protocol was dispatched!

 

2nd step: Receive an electronic protocol and dispatch it to another user

Once the protocol is dispatched, it is necessary to receive it. To do that, access the My tasks > Protocol > Inbox menu.

Then, search for and select the protocol dispatched in the previous step. In this case, the one with the "SUP-ELECTR01" ID #.

Click on the button.

On the screen that will be opened, select "Yes" in the Accept field.

Enter "Received" in the Receiving field.

Click on the button to save the electronic protocol and dispatch it to another user.

The dispatch data screen will be opened.

Enter 12/31/2022 once again in the Deadline field.

Enter "Second part of the dispatch" in the Comments field.

Click on the button on the side toolbar.

On the screen that will be opened, select the "User" option in the Access type field.

Then, search for and select the user who will be the dispatch destination. To do that, you can use another user you can access or ask for help from a colleague.

Click on the button on the destination selection screen and on the dispatch data screen.

The electronic protocol was received and dispatched to another user!

 

3rd step: Close an electronic protocol

Once the protocol has been received, it will be possible to close the processing. To do that, access the My tasks > Protocol > Inbox menu.

Then, search for and select the protocol received in the previous step. In this case, the one with the "SUP-ELECTR01" ID #.

Click on the button.

On the screen that will be opened, enter "Closing of the processing of the SUP-ELECTR01" protocol in the Description field.

Click on the button.

All done. The electronic protocol was closed!
