Finishing and closing a survey
Prerequisites
- Answered survey.
- Access to the Execution > Survey execution (SV028) menu or to the My tasks > Survey execution menu.
Introduction
Once answered, a survey can be finished.
If the Closure options section is configured in the survey data, it will be closed automatically. Otherwise, the record will need to be finished manually via the Execution > Survey execution (SV028) menu or via the My tasks > Survey execution menu.
If the type used to create the survey has the Closure option checked and configured, the survey will go through this step once finished. The closure step is performed through the Survey closure to-do task.
See below how to perform these operations:
How to finish the survey
1. Access the Execution > Survey execution (SV028) menu or the My tasks > Survey execution menu.
2. Select the desired survey and click on the button to open its data screen.
3. On the screen that will open, click on the Save and next step button.
4. Answer the question “Do you really wish to conclude survey?" with Confirm.
If there is a user who has not answered the survey, a screen will be displayed for the closure of the record to be explained. At the end of the mandatory explanation, click on Confirm.
Executing the survey closure to-do task
Once finished, records with the closure step checked in the survey type need for the Survey closure to-do task to be executed.
1. Access the My tasks > Survey closure menu.
2. Select the desired survey and click on the button.
3. On the screen that will open, fill in the Comment field with information about the operation of the survey.
4. If you wish, fill in the other fields: Benefit achieved, Objective achieved, and Lesson learned.
5. To finish, click on Save and next step. Then, click on Confirm to send it to the next step.
If the record has been configured with closure approval in the survey type, the parties responsible for the approval must execute the Survey closure approval to-do task.
Otherwise, the record will be closed.
Conclusion
Thus, the survey has been finished correctly.
