Configuring a standard for sample information

Prerequisites
- Access to the Management > Collection tracking (SP004) menu.
- Previously created data collection.
Introduction
Customize and simplify the completion of repetitive information when configuring default values for fields such as machine, shift, operator, lot, PO, and others.
Upon opening a new sample, these fields will be filled out with pre-defined information, saving time and ensuring data consistency.
Intelligent standardization
1. Access the Management > Collection tracking (SP004) menu.
2. Select a collection.
3. Click on the 
button.
4. On the Characteristic tab, select a characteristic.
5. Click on the button.
6. Access the Process tab.
7. Fill out the default values for each sample information field.
Sample information is copied based on the rules in the Copying sample data article.
8. To finish, click on the 
button.
