Introduction
It is possible to customize and simplify the insertion of repetitive information by configuring default values for fields such as: machine, shift, operator, batch, MO (manufacturing order), etc.
Upon opening a new sample, these fields will be filled out with pre-defined information, saving time and ensuring data consistency.
Follow the steps to perform this operation:
Configuring standard sample information
1. Access the Management > Collection planning (SP003) menu or the Management > Collection tracking (SP004) menu.
2. Select the desired collection and click on the
button.
3. In the Characteristic tab, select a characteristic and click on the
button.
4. Click on the Process tab.
5. Fill in each field with the sample's standard information:
- Machine: equipment responsible for manufacturing the item.
- Operator: person responsible for controlling the machine during the manufacturing of the item.
- Inspector: person responsible for item quality and data collection.
- Gage: object used to acquire collection characteristic data.
- Shift: time range in which the collection was carried out.
- Lot: Item lot identification for future reference.
- MO (Manufacturing order): item manufacturing order number.
In order for the Machine and Gage fields to be available for selection on the screen, they need to be added beforehand in SoftExpert Asset, and the integration between the components must be enabled using the Integration and Control panel tabs of the general parameters.
