Adding development plans
Prerequisites
- Access to the Management > Employee profile (AD006) menu.
- Active SoftExpert Action plan license.
Introduction
Individual development plans (IDPs) are strategic tools used to support the personal and professional growth of employees within the organization. They are customized for each individual, setting specific learning and improvement goals that align the employee's aspirations with the company's objectives.
When managing an employee's profile within SoftExpert Suite, it is possible to create development plans. By investing in the continuous development of its employees, the organization not only enhances its internal talent, but also strengthens its culture of continuous learning and adaptation, essential to maintaining competitiveness and innovation in the market.
Development plans can also be created from the following SoftExpert Competence menus:
- Execution > Evaluation execution (CO011) > Review evaluation.
- My tasks > Execution > Draft development plan.

Additional information
• Icons may be displayed next to the competences to indicate whether the mapped competence is required or desirable, whether it is being used in another development plan of the employee, or whether the evaluated competence is associated with a development suggestion. Hover over an icon to identify it.
• If the selected competence is being used in another development plan that is open, the system will display a message asking whether you really wish to associate it with the development plan being created.
• When a competence is selected, some fields will be populated by the system with the data of the selected competence. For example, if the selected competence has already been evaluated and is associated with a development suggestion, the action fields will be filled in with the data of the evaluation, with the department and position of the appraiser who proposed the development suggestion, the course suggested for this competence to be developed, among other pieces of information.
• The Category step will only be shown if, in the Employee profile > Development plan section of the SoftExpert Administration general parameters, the Allow changing default category option is enabled. Otherwise, the creation of the development plan can be finished in the previous step, and the IDP will be created in the category defined in the data of the evaluation plan cycle or in the general parameters.
