Editing an objective

 

Prerequisites

  • User with permission for the Objective > Planning menu in SoftExpert Configuration > Configuration > Access group (CM011).
  • Previously created objective.
  • User with the Edit control enabled in the objective security list.

 

Introduction

After creating an objective, it may be necessary to perform changes and enter data that was not available during the creation.

To edit an objective, perform the following steps:

 

Editing an objective

1. Access the Objective (OK002) menu.

2. Hover the mouse over the desired objective and click on the Open data button that will be displayed.

3. On the General data section of the screen that will be opened, edit or fill out the objective Description with information that will aid in its understanding, if desired.

4. Click on Edit in the upper right corner of the screen.

5. On the screen that will be opened, edit the desired information, such as the Objective, the Period, the Responsibility type, and the Responsible.

6. After performing all desired changes, click on Save to apply them.

The period is informative; it does not define the objective status, and no tasks or notifications are generated based on it.

If attributes are configured for the objectives, they will be available for completion on the data screen. To fill them out, perform the following steps:

1. Access the Objective (OK002) menu.

2. Hover the mouse over the desired objective and click on the Open data button that will be displayed.

4. Fill out the attribute fields that will be displayed.

 

Adding comments

History

1. Access the Objective (OK002) menu.

2. Hover the mouse over the desired objective and click on the Open data button that will be displayed.

3. On the screen that will be opened, click on the History tab.

4. All actions related to the objective will be displayed chronologically.
