How to use a watermark
Prerequisite
- Access to the Configuration > Watermark (DC045) menu.
Introduction
A watermark is a text or image placed over an electronic file to label its origin and characteristics, aiding in the protection of intellectual property.
Watermarks are usually overlaid in colors and sizes that do not hinder the usability of the document. There are several types of watermarks to be used in electronic files.
In SoftExpert Document, watermarks are commonly used to define the ownership and the authorship of documents. By accessing Configuration > Watermark (DC045), it is possible to add and configure watermarks that will later be associated with document categories and applied to the electronic files of documents.
