Creating a file via SoftExpert Editor

Prerequisites

 

Introduction

SoftExpert Document provides an integrated native editor that allows creating, editing, and managing electronic files directly in the system, without the need to use external applications, such as third-party text editors.

In addition to basic editing features, the SoftExpert Document editor has exclusive features aimed at document management, such as variables insertion, reusable content blocks, integration with category metadata, and support for collaboration among users.

This set of features enables greater standardization, agility, and control during document draft and revision, ensuring that all content is produced and maintained within the controlled environment of the system.

 

Creating a file via the editor

1. Access the Document (DC010) menu.

2. Right-click on the desired document.

3. Click on the Open Data icon. button that will be displayed.

4. Access the Electronic file tab.

5. Expand the Add button and click on the Create file option.

6. Create the file content in the editor that will open.
