Associating a validity with an object type or category
Prerequisites
Access to the Configuration > Type or Configuration > Category menu.
Previously created category or type without simplified revision.
Previously configured validity.
Introduction
With a validity configured, associating it with a type or category is essential, in accordance with the component related to the object to be revalidated.
This association ensures that all objects created from the configured type or category are automatically linked to the defined revalidation rules.
It is only possible to configure a validity for types and categories that do not have simplified revision.
Follow the examples below to understand how to execute this step.
Configuring validity in a category
1. Access the Configuration > Category menu.
2. Select a category that does NOT have simplified revision.
4. From the Control tab, in the Validity section, associate the desired validity configuration.
5. Click on the button to finish the association.

Configuring validity in a type
1. Access to the Configuration > Type menu.
2. Select a type that does NOT have simplified revision.
4. On the data screen, enable the Revalidation option.
5. Associate the desired validity configuration in the Revalidation field.
6. Click on the button to finish the association.
