Form - 2.2.1

From versions 2.2.0.388 and 2.2.1.145 onwards, new rules related to the use of deprecated formulas in the system are in action.

Starting on December 31, 2024, the start of Workflows will be blocked if deprecated formulas are identified in forms or process activities. Instances that are already in execution, however, may continue to use the formulas without interruptions.

Then, starting on June 30, 2025, the execution of deprecated formulas in the system will stop completely.

Action to cancel activity execution in the responsive form

It is now possible to interrupt the execution of an activity after clicking on the corresponding action button. This provides greater flexibility to perform validations and necessary adjustments before continuing.

Through responsive form rules, this new action grants more precise control over the actions during the process of creating and editing forms.

We believe this new feature will elevate your usage experience to a new level, providing an extra level of control and security when working with our forms.

Greater flexibility when creating table fields in the responsive form

In this version, there is a new responsive form feature that allows choosing between creating table fields automatically or manually.

This addition provides greater control and versatility when creating forms, as it allows adapting the form creation process according to the project and workflow demands, making it more efficient and adjusted to the needs of each user.

This update aims to facilitate the customization and adaptation of forms even further.

We believe this improvement will be a valuable addition to user experience, providing greater control over the design and structure of forms in the responsive environment.

Making approval tasks easier on mobile devices through the display of action plans and causes

Users can now view action plans directly from forms, even on mobile devices. Moreover, the list of causes identified in the analysis tools is also available for mobile access.

This update represents a major step towards increased mobility and productivity.

Approval tasks, which previously relied on desktop searches to view causes and action plans related to workflows, can now be executed efficiently on mobile devices.

This provides users with unprecedented flexibility and convenience, enabling them to make critical decisions anytime, anywhere.

Improved flexibility with the option to disable thousand separators in numeric fields

It is now possible to disable the viewing by thousandth separator in numeric fields, which grants exceptional flexibility when generating customized and precise protocols and codes adjusted to your specific needs.

The update allows you to adapt your numeric fields according to each scenario and requirement, with even greater control over them.

Improvement in the completion efficiency: Automatic positioning of the cursor over the first editable element

Now, when accessing a responsive form, the mouse cursor will be automatically placed over the first editable element.

This small improvement has a great impact in agility and time-saving during form completion. The user no longer needs to search for the initial field to start adding information, as the system does so automatically.

With this feature, interaction with forms is more intuitive and effective.

Identification of blank fields in responsive forms: Improvement in the viewing of required fields

Now, when verifying required fields, such as during the execution of an activity, our system will provide precise identification of fields that were not filled out.

The user will no longer need to search for the missing field, as the system will inform the exact required field lacking information.

This change considerably fastens the process, saving time and ensuring no details are forgotten.

With this improvement, filling out responsive forms becomes faster and more precise, ensuring users finish their activities efficiently.

Enhancing your date rules using variables in the responsive form

It is now possible to use variables in the functions for adding days and adding hours in the rules of the responsive form.

This new feature expands the ability of calculating dates in the responsive form, as it allows users to perform more complex and dynamic calculations, using data provided directly by the form.

The flexibility of creating rules that consider dynamic information from your form makes your processes more efficient and precise.

With the variable integration, possibilities are limitless. You can automate deadlines, calculate validity dates based on specific user inputs, and more.

New security for form access control

From this version, aiming to improve the management of access controls, the SoftExpert Form security is now based on permission profiles.

It is now possible to create and manage profiles through a new menu. Profiles can be created as needed, such as Form manager, with the adding, editing, and deleting controls.

Thus, in the table type data and table data, simply select it and enter the users, departments, and teams that will have access, allowing for greater visibility, management, and reuse of the access controls.

Security improvement: Differentiation between internal and external users

This feature will significantly improve access control in our system. From this version onwards, you can specifically configure the security for All (External) in the workflow type, form, and process levels.

This update provides unprecedented flexibility by differentiating the access of internal and external users to information.

Now, users can, for example, grant editing permission to all internal users and restrict viewing access to external users only. This enables a more refined security management, aligned with the needs of your process.

The security for external users is precisely applied to search and tracking through the external user portal. This means users can share information with partners, customers, or other external parties while knowing access is strictly controlled.

Explore this feature and learn how it can improve security and information sharing in your work environment.

Barcode reader for offline use in the SoftExpert Workflow application

From this version onwards, this feature allows users to use their smartphone cameras to read barcodes and fill out form fields in a quick and efficient way.

This new feature is a significant jump in usability and time-saving improvements, especially when it is necessary to start offline processes with barcode information.

A new rule action allows users to open the device camera and easily scan barcodes.

Data is captured easily, with simple scanning, eliminating the need for manual input and minimizing errors. This feature is a great addition to make processes quicker and improve data precision.

Simplify the offline start experience with the Barcode reader in SoftExpert Workflow and learn how it can transform the handling of critical information in your processes.

Improving usability: "Save" button in the responsive form grid now keeps the screen open

Now, when adding or editing records, there is a new Save button available. This addition was designed for a more efficient workflow.

With the Save button, you can fill out the record data, save it, and continue the completion, without the need to switch screens or perform additional clicks.

This feature is particularly useful to maintain rhythm without interruptions when working with several data inputs. It is now possible to add or edit records easily and quickly, saving time and increasing productivity.

Ensuring accurate calculations: Alert for multiplication not using functions in formulas

We are committed to maintaining precision and calculation integrity in our formulas. Thus, we have created an improvement to avoid errors from inadequate formatting of fields in your formulas.

From this version onwards, when saving a formula for editing with a multiplication operation without the use of the corresponding function, you will be automatically alerted through a warning message. This ensures calculations are performed correctly and are reliable, avoiding imprecise results.

This measure is essential to maintaining the consistency and accuracy of data, particularly in environments in which formulas hold a fundamental role.

Display customization: Column sorting in pivot tables

You can now customize the order in which columns are displayed in the listings of records in SoftExpert Form menus and the table data screen.

Flexibility when viewing data is essential to meet the specific needs of each organization. With this update, you can sort columns according to relevance, preference, or the logic of your process, making data visualization more efficient and customized.

This feature is particularly useful to emphasize critical information, highlight specific fields, or simplify visualization for users. You can now adapt the column order to fit perfectly into your workflow.

Validation enhancement: Responsive form grid with required fields

Now you can determine that at least one record must be added to the responsive form grid, ensuring that crucial information is not omitted.

Moreover, with this improvement, you can specify which grid columns must be filled out when a record is required. This enables a more precise validation, ensuring relevant data is properly recorded.

This feature is particularly valuable for processes that depend on specific information in responsive forms, ensuring all mandatory fields are filled out even when records are added to a grid.

With this update, you have greater control over data integrity and requirement compliance in your process. Ensure your responsive forms are filled out in a complete and precise way, improving the quality of data and the efficiency of your workflow.
