Reporting an incident

 

Prerequisite

  • Access to the Execution > Start (WF003) menu.

 

Introduction

Once the process is configured and its revision is released, it is able to be used to report incidents through SoftExpert Workflow.

 

Reporting an incident

1. Access the Execution > Start (WF003) menu.

2. In the Search field, search for the incident type created in the General configurations article.

3. Enter the "Incident SLA" name in the text box and click on the Start button.

4. On the activity execution screen, in the Time for solution field, we can see that the current deadline is 8 hours, as the SLA is the standard level, which is level 2 in this case.

5. Fill out the attribute with the "Example" value and click on the Save button.

6. Then, select the SLA data; we can see that the deadline is now 4 hours, and the level is 1, as configured in the rules.

7. Click on the Save button.

Conclusion

Once the workflow is started, the incident is successfully reported. The next step is to execute the activity.
