Creating the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) of a process
Prerequisites
- Access to the Process (PM063) menu.
- Previously created process.
- Previously created critical success factor.
Introduction
Critical success factors (CSFs) represent the essential elements for a process to achieve its objectives effectively.
In SoftExpert Process, in addition to being recorded, these factors can be associated directly with the pieces of data of a process, allowing them to be part of its analysis and management structure.
As an example, this article will demonstrate the association of the "Request approval time" critical factor to complement a purchase request process.

Recording critical success factors
1. Access the Process (PM063) menu.
2. Locate the process for which you wish to record critical success factors (CSFs) and right-click on it.
3. Select the Open data option.
4. On the screen that will open, use the NAVIGATION panel to access the FCS tab.

5. Click on the
button.
6. Find and select the desired CSF.
7. Click on the
button. Repeat the process to add as many CSFs as necessary.

Conclusion
All done! The critical success factors (CSFs) will be duly recorded in the process data.
If no other configurations are necessary, click on the Accept revision button to release the process.
