Viewing the answers of a survey

Gear icon that leads to the survey type configuration step, where the requirement settings are configured. Document icon with an addition symbol, that leads to the create survey step, where a new survey is initiated. Network diagram icon that leads to the structure survey step, where the survey is organized. Group of people icon with an addition sign, that leads to the define respondents step, where the participants are selected for the process.
Checkmark icon, that leads to the enable survey for responses step, where the survey is activated to receive user responses. Pencil on paper icon, that leads to the respond to survey step, where the user fills in the required answers. Prerequisites

  • Answered survey.
  • Access to the View > Answer (SV012) menu.
  • Access to the Execution > Survey execution (SV028) menu or to the My tasks > Survey execution menu.

 

Introduction

The answers of a survey can be viewed during or after its execution.

By viewing the answers, it is possible to filter the respondents' reactions to the questions asked. Thus, in a customer satisfaction survey, for example, we can come up with means to improve the feedback given.

Viewing the answers of a finished survey

1. Access the View > Answer (SV012) menu.

2. In the Advanced filters, use the filters referring to answers, surveys, respondents, etc., to facilitate the search.

3. Select the desired record and click on the View icon. button.

4. Choose the View answer option to see what has been answered in the selected survey.

Viewing the answers of an in-progress survey

1. Access the Execution > Survey execution (SV028) menu or the My tasks > Survey execution menu.

2. Select the desired survey and click on the Edit icon. button. 

3. On the screen that will open, go to the Answer tab.

4. Use the Advanced filters to search for the desired answer.

5. Select the respondent and click on View icon. to see what has been answered.

Viewing the results of a survey

1. Access the Execution > Survey execution (SV028) menu, the My tasks > Survey execution menu, or the My tasks > Survey tracking menu.

2. Select the desired survey and click on the button to access its results.

2. On the screen that will open, go to the Search tab.

3. Expand the Add question button and select a question from the survey in the Question field.

4. In the Operator field, determine whether the desired information must be equal to (=) or different from (<>) the option for the Answer field.

5. In the Answer field, select one of the answer options for the chosen question. This option will be used to complete the operation described in step 4.

6. If you wish, click on the Add icon. button to add another question for filtering.

7. Finally, click on Apply to view the answers to the filtered questions.

8. Click on the Summary tab to view general information about the survey so far.

This way, it will be possible to better assess the results and the users' answers.
