Introduction

SoftExpert SPC has five view menus to facilitate record control and the visualization of saved information.

Learn about the available options:

The search filters aid in locating records. By clicking on the button in the Advanced filters section of each menu, it is possible to perform a search by different pieces of information.

Data collection view and characteristic comparison

See the steps for viewing data collections and comparing two characteristics:

1. Access the View > Data collection (SP007) menu.

2. Select the collection you wish to view and expand the More button.

3. The complementary features will be displayed, such as charts and the results of the characteristic.

The charts that will be displayed depend on the type of the selected characteristic.

4. Return to the menu screen and select two characteristics of the same type (variable or attribute).

5. Click on the arrow next to the button and select the Compare values option. Thus, it will be possible to analyze the collections.

6. Click on the button.

In the Advanced filters, it is possible to view collections with different statuses: in progress, not started, finished, postponed, or blocked. To enable or unblock a data collection, however, it is necessary to access the Management > Collection tracking (SP004) menu, apply the collection status filter, select the record, and expand the More button in order to perform the actions.

Event log view

Track the updates of data collections that have event logs associated:

1. Access the View > Event log (SP027) menu.

2. Select the collection related to the event log you wish to view.

  • Generate/configure reports and export data to Excel by expanding the button.

The fourth option allows for exporting the list of records displayed on the main screen to an Excel file, configuring a new report or associating an existing report, and searching for the parameters that may be used in the configuration of new reports.

Stratification view

Through this view, some characteristics are grouped so that their influence on the process is analyzed separately:

1. Access the View > Stratification (SP008) menu.

2. Select the collection you wish to stratify.

3. Use the top toolbar to:
