Presentation

In SoftExpert Risk, it is possible to run tests for the created control analyses. This operation can also be performed through the Control Test Execution task .

Control tests can only be performed when the control analysis has been approved or is under current revision.

This article will show you how to perform a control test.

Execute control test

1. Access the Control menu (RI410) .

2. Search for the control analysis in which you want to run the test.

3. Click the button .

4. The screen with the control test data will be displayed, as well as the fields for configuring the samples.

If, during the test plan setup, attributes are associated in the Test Execution Attributes section, they will be displayed on this screen and can be identified by name. In that case, simply enter their values.

If the test plan is configured with the sampling option , it will be necessary to select the sampling method ( simple random or convenience ) before generating the samples. When choosing the convenience method, the desired sample must be selected. In the simple random method, it is necessary to specify the maximum number of samples.

5. Click Generate samples and then Start test .

6. The screen for running the test will be displayed. Click the Pass button to approve the sample being evaluated, or click the Fail button to reject it.

If the control test has a checklist associated with the test plan, it will be displayed. In this case, the questions on this checklist will be used as a requirement for evaluating the samples.

Each question can be answered with Yes if it meets the question's requirement, or with No if it does not. Questions answered with N/A will not be considered in the calculation of the test sample result.

7. If necessary, evidence from the control test may be included.

8. After evaluating a sample, click the Next button to advance to the next sample to be evaluated.

9. After evaluating all samples, click Finish . The test summary will be displayed on the control test screen, showing the results of the evaluations for each sample, as well as the overall test result.

The test result will be considered a Pass if the percentage of samples that pass is greater than or equal to that determined in the control test plan. Otherwise, the result will be a Fail .

10. Click Finish again to complete the control test.

Immediately after the test is completed, those responsible for the test will receive the task "Approval of the control test" .

Conclusion

With the control test duly completed, the next step is to register the treatment .
