Viewing files
Prerequisites
- Access to the Drive (DR001) menu.
- Logged user with viewer or editor permission.
Introduction
The file view feature in SoftExpert Drive enables direct access to the content of electronic documents, without the need to download them. This operation optimizes system usage, promoting agility when it comes to checking and validating information.
For viewing purposes, files in the extensions that are most used in the corporate environment are available, such as pdf, png, jpg, jpeg, docx, xlsx, and pptx. Any extensions other than these ones are not currently supported. Users are notified when selected files cannot be viewed.
Viewing files
1. From the Drive (DR001) menu, access the My drive vision.
2. Locate the file you wish to view.
3. Hover the mouse over the file and click on the button that will be enabled.

You can also view the file by double-clicking on the record or on the icon of the Type column.
Conclusion
Viewing files directly in SoftExpert Drive expedites access to information and improves the system usage experience. If the extension of a file is not compatible, the user will be informed of the impossibility to view it, which ensures transparency in the operation.
