Prerequisites

• Access to the Business rule (BR001) menu.
• Active SoftExpert Maintenance license.

Introduction

When creating a business rule, after setting the triggers, we need to configure the chosen action. 

The action of creating a corrective maintenance allows for automatically generating it in SoftExpert Maintenance. This feature is used to record necessary interventions in assets when failures or problems are identified.

In its turn, the action of creating a programmed maintenance allows for automatically generating it in SoftExpert Maintenance. This feature is ideal to automate the creation of preventive or periodic maintenance based on criteria defined in the system.

Configuring a corrective or programmed maintenance creation action

1. Access the Business rule (BR001) menu and click on the Create button.

2. Select the component and choose the desired trigger.

3. In the following step, click on the Then a corrective maintenance is created option or on the Then a programmed maintenance is created option.

4. Click on the Configure SoftExpert Suite application button.

5. On the screen that will open, enter the data that will be inserted when the maintenance is created.

6. With the data filled out, click on the Finish button.

Conclusion

The action of creating a corrective or programmed maintenance has been configured and is ready to be executed after the business rule is created.
