How to configure an article creation action

 

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Business rule (BR001) menu.
  • Active SoftExpert Knowledge base license.

 

Introduction

When creating a business rule, after setting the triggers, we need to configure the chosen action. 

The action of creating articles allows for automatically generating them in SoftExpert Knowledge base. 

This feature is useful for recording lessons learned, standardizations, or relevant information generated from system events.

Configuring an article creation action

1. Access the Business rule (BR001) menu and click on the Create button.

2. Select the component and choose the desired trigger.

3. In the following step, click on the Then an article is created option.

4. Click on the Configure SoftExpert Suite application button.

5. On the screen that will open, enter the data that will be inserted when the workflow is started, including article ID #, knowledge base ID #, and assignee user ID #.

6. With the data filled out, click on the Finish button.
