Sending a password change e-mail

Gear icon that leads to the general parameters configuration step, where the requirement settings are configured.  Person icon with addition symbol that leads to the User registration step, where new users are registered in the system. ID card icon that leads to the employee profile management step, where user profile settings are configured. Organizational structure icon that leads to the organizational mapping step, where the analysis of internal structures is performed.

 

Prerequisites

  • Access to the File > Organization structure > User (AD004) menu.
  • E-mails associated with user data.

 

Introduction

In some cases, to ensure data security and integrity, it may be necessary to change the passwords of all system users. This may be required after a security breach in order to protect compromised accounts, or in response to internal incidents, such as a rogue employee. 

Additionally, regular password rotation, required by many security policies and regulations, helps prevent unauthorized access. Updating passwords can also be part of the implementation of new security requirements or migration to a new authentication system. 

Creating new credentials ensures that all accounts remain secure and aligned with the highest protection standards.

Sending a password change e-mail

1. Access the File > Organization structure > User (AD004) menu.

2. Click on the SEARCH button.

3. Click on the More option from the toolbar and then on the Send password change email icon. button.

User following the steps described above to send a password change email to a user.

All done! The users will be notified by e-mail and will be required to change their passwords.
