Request maintenance
Prerequisites
- Access to the Configuration > Maintenance > Request maintenance (SR018) menu.
- Request in progress.
- "Edit" control allowed in the request security for changes to be made.
- "View" control allowed in the request security for data display.
Introduction
Through the Request maintenance (SR018) menu, it is possible to make adjustments to requests that have not been cancelled or closed.
It displays the requests issued by the logged user. It also shows the requests issued by the department, position, or user under the logged user's full or specific control, as configured in SoftExpert Administration, from the File > Organizational unit > User (AD004) menu.

Editing a request
1. Access the Configuration > Maintenance > Request maintenance (SR018) menu.
2. Locate and select the request you wish to edit.
3. Click on the toolbar button.
4. On the screen that will open, edit the desired data.
It is possible to edit the ID #, name, issuer, attributes, description, explanation, attachments, and documents of the request.
Viewing a request
1. Access the Configuration > Maintenance > Request maintenance (SR018) menu.
2. Locate and select the request you wish to view.
3. Expand the toolbar button.
4. Click on the View data option to access the request data screen, or on the View object data option to access the request object data screen.
Exporting requests to an Excel file
1. Access the Configuration > Maintenance > Request maintenance (SR018) menu.
2. Fill out the search filters with the data of the requests you wish to export.
3. Click on SEARCH.
4. Expand the button and select the Export to Excel option.
5. Wait for loading to finish and open the file in the download section of your directory.
Updating request attributes
1. Access the Configuration > Maintenance > Request maintenance (SR018) menu.
2. Locate and select the request whose attributes you wish to update.
3. Expand the More toolbar option.
4. Click on Attribute maintenance and confirm the system message.
5. Wait for the attributes of the request to be replaced with the attributes configured in its type.
Conclusion
The resources of the request maintenance menu are important for one-off adjustments to be made to the records! Use the menu as a centralizer to improve request management.
