Checking in through the objective screen

 

Prerequisites

  • User with permission for the Objective > Execution or Planning menus in SoftExpert Configuration > Configuration > Access group (CM011).
  • Objective in progress with at least one key result under the responsibility of the logged user.
  • User with the Edit control enabled in the objective security list.

 

Introduction

The most important part of the life cycle of an objective is to measure and record its actual progress, to enable a precise analysis by the responsible users.

In addition to the responsible for the key result, who will receive the Check-in task, users authorized to edit the objective can also check information in through the Objective (OK002) screen.

To check in results through the Objective (OK002) screen, follow the steps below:

 

Result check-in

1. Access the Objective (OK002) menu.

2. Hover the mouse over the desired objective and click on the Expand button that will be displayed.

3. The key results of the objective will be listed. Click on the one you wish to check in.

5. On the screen that will open, click on the > Check-in button.

6. Enter the Check-in date and its Current value.

7. Indicate the confidence level in the achievement of the result until the end of the period.

8. Leave a Comment regarding the key result, if desired.

9. Click on Save to finish it.

1. Access the Objective (OK002) menu.

2. Hover the mouse over the desired objective and click on the Expand button that will be displayed.

3. The key results of the objective will be listed. Click on the one you wish to check in.

4. Scroll down until the Check-in history section.

5. Hover the mouse over the desired check-in and click on the Edit button that will be displayed.

6. On the screen that will be opened, edit the desired fields.

7. Click on Save to apply the changes.
