The Kanban tasks have to-do tasks now
As of version 3.0, the tasks of SoftExpert Kanban have started to include integrated to-do tasks, allowing for tracking and executing assignments directly from the new Task center.
This new feature is presented along with the redesign of the old My tasks menu, which has been completely renewed to provide a more modern, centralized, and efficient experience.
Now, all to-do tasks – including those from Kanban – can be viewed, filtered, and executed in a single environment.

The Kanban to-do tasks are displayed to the users responsible for each task.
If the workspace uses the Scrum methodology, the task will be displayed in the Center only if it is linked to started sprints.
Greater agility with mass actions
SoftExpert keeps simplifying task management and completion. To avoid repetition, we have introduced the mass actions feature in the Board and backlog (KN008) menu.
With this resource, it is possible to select multiple tasks in the Backlog and then move them to another workspace, change their type, or delete them.

Improvements in the initiative structure
In this version, the initiative structure has received the following additions for a more organized and efficient management of complex tasks:
Support to multiple task levels
The initiative structure has been enhanced to provide a complete hierarchical view that allows for a detailed tracking of all tasks related to an initiative.
Initiative progress bar
The initiative structure has been enhanced to also display the progress bar of other initiatives associated in the structure. Thus, it is possible to view the progress of all initiatives in a single place.
Task editing panel
The management of associated tasks has been optimized to allow for making changes faster. Now, it is possible to edit tasks directly from the initiative structure, in accordance with the user's security permissions.
This ensures that the tasks that compose the initiative can be altered more easily, without the need to return to the Board and backlog (KN008) menu for one-off adjustments.
Performance improvement in the Backlog
Efficiency will be a hallmark of the task Backlog in this version!
Several performance improvements have been made in order to ensure agility in the work and planning routine of users, optimizing their experience when managing large volumes of tasks.
Visual identifier for task limit in the Board
The limits for in-progress tasks (WIP - Work in Progress) is more visible in the execution Board.
The color of the indicators will change according to the status of the lane, ensuring that deviations in the flow are noticed faster.

New main screen with intelligent features
SoftExpert Suite version 3.0 presents a modern and standardized interface for the Step (KN004) and Flowchart (KN006) menus.
With optimized filters and a new functional listing, it is much easier to view, locate, and manage records. Now, it is possible to create items from scratch, import templates, or use the "Ask AI" feature.

The "Ask AI" feature will only be available to organizations that are Cloud customers and have SoftExpert Copilot.
In order for this resource to work correctly, the AI features permission must be enabled in the Access group (CM011) menu.
AI chat for adding records
Adding records through the Step (KN004) menu has become much easier!
With the new AI chat feature, you just need to write what you want with simple phrases, and the system takes care of filling everything out.
See how this feature works:
- Type what you want in a text field, as if it was a conversation.
- Choose among the suggestions the system will present.
- The system will add the record automatically from the chosen example.
Available only to customers that use the SoftExpert cloud platform.
In order for this resource to work correctly, the AI features permission must be enabled in the Access group (CM011) menu.
Menu centralization
In version 3.0, the system keeps moving forward when it comes to standardizing data management.
The Attribute (KN001) and Team (KN002) menus have been removed from SoftExpert Kanban and are now centralized in SoftExpert Administration.
This centralization makes for a simpler and more efficient user experience, allowing data maintenance to be carried out in a single place.
The result is greater consistency among the modules, as well as greater agility for those who manage or use this information in the system.
