AI chat to add records

Adding records through the Risk (RI455)Control (RI460), and Opportunity (RI465) menus has become much easier.

With the new AI chat feature, you just need to write what you want with simple phrases, and the system takes care of filling everything out.

See how this feature works:

  • Type what you want in a text field, as if it was a conversation.
  • Choose among the examples the system will present.
  • The system will add the record automatically from the chosen example.

The AI chat feature will only be available to organizations that are Cloud customers and have SoftExpert Copilot

In order for it to work correctly, the AI features permission must be enabled in the Access group (CM011) menu.

New way to view and manage associations

In this version, SoftExpert Risk has a new element association screen, with a clearer and more intuitive interface.

Now, all related elements can be viewed and managed in an organized manner and in a single place, which simplifies the tracking and administration of the associations.

Moreover, the screen allows for directly adding new items at the time of association, which eliminates the need to browse through different modules in order to create them beforehand.

In this version, the Test plan (RI211), Population (RI214), and Population type (RI106) menus have been grouped in Test, within the Configuration section, which provides a more logic and integrated structure.

Additionally, the View profile menu has been removed from the main navigation and is now available in the General parameters.

This centralization and reorganization of the menus makes for a more direct access and a more practical, clearer, and better organized system management, facilitating the routine of users.

In version 3.0, the system keeps moving forward when it comes to standardizing data management.

The Attribute (RI101), Team (RI102), Checklist (RI103), and Reason (RI122) menus have been removed from SoftExpert Risk and are now centralized in SoftExpert Administration.

This centralization makes for a simpler and more efficient user experience, allowing data maintenance to be carried out in a single place. The result is greater consistency among the modules, as well as greater agility for those who manage or use this information in the system.

Multiple execution in evaluation approval tasks

Now, the Risk evaluation approval and Control evaluation approval tasks allow for selecting and approving multiple records simultaneously in the new Task center.

This improvement expedites activity execution and makes risk management much more efficient, reducing the time spent on individual approvals and simplifying the control over in-progress demands.

Control test plans integrated with the risk structure

As of this version, it is possible to add, edit, and view test plans directly in the risk structure, making risk and control management more integrated, agile, and efficient.

This integration centralizes the actions on a single screen, facilitating information tracking and delivering a unified and complete view of the management process.

Find risk plans under revision through the full text search

The full text search is even more complete in version 3.0 of the system.

Now, it is possible to find the risk plans that are being revised, which expands the coverage of the results.

This improvement enables greater agility and convenience when viewing information, as it eliminates the need to change screens or perform manual searches.

To learn more about this improvement, access SoftExpert Configuration's release notes.

A more transparent and traceable deletion of plans

The plan deletion process has become more controlled and secure.

When the Add an explanation to delete a plan parameter is active, the system will ask the user to provide the reason for the deletion, which will be automatically recorded in the context history.

New permission control for control test deletion

A permission has been added for the deletion of control test records in risk plans.

With this new resource, only duly authorized users will be allowed to perform this action, which strengthens the security, traceability, and governance of the information.

More flexibility for responses to risks

As of this version, the system allows for associating more than one response to risk workflows, even when a process is already defined.

This improvement provides greater control and flexibility in risk management, enabling the use of multiple action flows for the same scenario.

This way, risk mitigation becomes more dynamic, more efficient, and better adapted to different business needs.

Revision restriction in evaluation methods

Now, whenever there is a risk or control analysis in progress, the system will display a screen with the restrictions for the revision of evaluation methods that have forms linked to them.

This measure ensures information integrity and avoids inconsistencies in the risk and control evaluation process.

Improved association of risks with plans

Now, when the user hovers the mouse over an associated risk, the system will display the full text, facilitating a quick and accurate identification of the information.

This improvement makes for a clearer and more efficient view of the risks linked to a plan.

Risk association on the process screen

As of this version, the Open risk plan button, on the Process (PM063) screen, remains available in already released processes as well, even if the process type was unchecked after the release.

This improvement ensures greater consistency in process management and continuous access to risk information, avoiding interruptions and facilitating the integrated tracking of the activities.

Edit participants in revisions with a variable route

As of this version, it is possible to edit participants directly from the revision tab if the route is configured as variable type.

This change means greater flexibility and agility for work flow management, as it allows for adjusting the responsible parties as needed throughout the process, without interrupting the progress of the revisions.

Add treatments directly from a risk analysis or evaluation

Now, the system allows for adding a new treatment directly from a risk evaluation or analysis, according to the configurations defined in the General parameters

This makes the process more agile and centralized, allowing for the recording and management of treatment actions, without the need to switch between different screens or modules.

Better organization and performance for plans

Now, each plan has a limit of up to 200 risks and 500 controls, which ensures better performance and fluid navigation.

When creating or editing plans, whether through insertion, drag and drop, import, or links, the system automatically blocks new additions when the limit is reached and displays a warning message.

This improvement avoids excessively large plans, optimizes performance, and delivers a more agile, organized, and productive user experience.

Possibility of sorting evaluation criteria

From this version onwards, it will be possible to change the order of evaluation criteria directly when configuring an evaluation method, for both quantitative methods and quantitative matrixes.

Task transfer in SoftExpert Risk

Previously, when transferring a task between teams, the system would also change the team responsible for the object associated with the risk. Thus, other tasks related to the same object would be transferred automatically, without the user knowing about it.

In version 3.0, the automatic transfer of control test tasks has been removed.

Now, responsibilities can be transferred between users or teams through the Management > Task transfer > Team (AD039) menu or the Management > Task transfer > User (AD041) menu, which ensures greater control and traceability for reassigned activities.

This update seeks to make the process more transparent by allowing the user to know exactly which tasks are being transferred.

For more information on task transfer, refer to the article covering it by clicking here.

New template processes in SoftExpert Request

SoftExpert Request will continue on in the new version of the system, now with new request template processes.

These processes can be created through the Process (PM063) menu.

See the new template processes available in SoftExpert Risk below:

  • Risk evaluation request
  • Control evaluation request

Although the processes can be created from the process menu, the request tasks must be executed in SoftExpert Risk.

To learn more about the template processes of the other modules, refer to SoftExpert Request's release notes.

Task center

The Task center is an evolution of the old My tasks menu, now with a more modern and efficient proposal.

Previously, the user needed to access different screens in order to execute activities such as revisions, revalidations, etc.

With the new Center, all tasks are gathered in a single optimized environment, which allows for a more fluid and centralized navigation.

This redesign brings about greater convenience to the day-to-day routine, as it allows for viewing, filtering, and executing tasks of different types in a single place.
