Available only to customers that use the SoftExpert cloud platform and have SoftExpert Copilot.

 

In order for this resource to work correctly, the AI features permission must be enabled in the Access group (CM011) menu.

 

 

New REST APIs

In SoftExpert Suite version 3.0, new REST APIs meant for managing and automating forms and tables have been published.

With them, it is possible to create, edit, and view forms and tables through external integrations, without the need to directly interact with the system's interface.

These APIs expand the integration possibilities and simplify the automated management of SoftExpert Form structures. 


New function to obtain form data

In version 3.0, a new function that allows for obtaining the code of a form record has been added, making it simpler to create integrations and advanced customizations.

This resource is available in the Functions tab of the editor of responsive forms and can be used to fetch the internal ID # of a record easily and securely.

 

Responsive forms in SoftExpert Audit

As of version 3.0, SoftExpert Audit has started to accept responsive forms, ensuring full compatibility with the system's new form structure.

This way, the forms used in audits adapt automatically to different devices, providing a more modern and consistent experience. 

 

In version 3.0, the system keeps moving forward when it comes to standardizing data management. 

The Dataset type (FO011) and Dataset (FO009) creation menus and the Dataset (FO003) view menu have been removed from SoftExpert Form and are now centralized in SoftExpert Data integration. 

And the Template (FO015)Checklist (FO024)Team (FO020), and Reason (FO023) menus have been removed from SoftExpert Form and are now centralized in SoftExpert Administration. 

This centralization makes for a simpler and more efficient user experience, allowing data maintenance to be carried out in a single place. 

The result is greater consistency among the components, as well as greater agility for those who manage or use this information in the system. 

 

Integration of default REST data sources to list objects

As of this version, the system has a new default REST data source, added to the list of preconfigured integrations available in the product.

Just as the others, this source can be used in SoftExpert Form to conveniently display information in selection fields or grids, expanding the integration and data querying possibilities within the system.

New default REST data source:

  • SeProjectList (SoftExpert Project List): project list.

To properly use default REST data sources in the system, you must configure SoftExpert Suite's default API. 

This configuration is essential for REST data sources to function correctly and display data in form lists.

Version 3.0 has also brought improvements that expand integration possibilities; in addition to GET-type requests, forms have started to accept other types of REST calls, such as POST and PUT, allowing the user to list and interact with external data in a more flexible and complete manner.

 

Associations tab renamed to Where used

In version 3.0, the Associations tab, available on the form data screen, has been renamed to Where used.

This change makes the resource clearer and more intuitive, indicating that the place has all the modules and processes in which the form is being used, without changes in its operation.

 

Task center

The Task center is an evolution of the old My tasks menu, now with a more modern and efficient proposal. 

Previously, the user needed to access different screens in order to execute activities such as revisions, revalidations, etc. 

With the new Center, all tasks are gathered in a single optimized environment, which allows for a more fluid and centralized navigation. 

This redesign brings about greater convenience to the day-to-day routine, as it allows for viewing, filtering, and executing tasks of different types in a single place.

Security validation for SQL queries

As of this version, SoftExpert Suite has started to conduct security validations on SQL queries executed in nonresponsive forms.

The objective is to block access to database tables, columns, and functions containing sensitive information, avoiding improper queries or changes.

Queries involving critical tables or confidential fields, such as passwords, tokens, and authentication data, are automatically restricted now.

Blocks for database functions that might expose classified information have been added as well, strengthening data protection and integrity in the system.
