SoftExpert Editor
The editor has received new features for an even more dynamic content creation. Now, you can work collaboratively, import content, use AI features, and insert emojis, videos, and images easily – all to make your productions more appealing and expressive.
Simultaneous collaborative editing
Several people can work together in the same document, with changes applied and viewed in real time – without the need to duplicate files or wait for another user to finish their edits.
Using collaborative editing, you can:
- Instantly track changes made by other users.
- Identify who is connected and where they are editing through avatars and names.
- Control permissions by defining who can edit or only view.
- Check the change history, which shows who made each change and when.
To use it, simply share the file with the people you want and grant them edit permission.
AI features
The editor now includes AI features to boost content creation. With the integrated resources, you can translate content, rewrite and reformulate paragraphs, and generate texts automatically.
Content import
Now, it is also possible to import DOCX files directly into the editor and keep editing them natively, in the system's original format. To do so, use the editor's Import option and select the desired file.
Export to DOCX and PDF
Finish your work by exporting the content to DOCX or PDF with just a few clicks. Simply select Export and choose the format you prefer.
The AI features are available to Cloud customers that use SoftExpert Copilt. To be eligible, the AI features permission must be enabled in the Access group (CM011) menu.
Open with SoftExpert Editor
Now, it is possible to edit files in DOCX format directly from the system's editor.
Using the Open with SoftExpert Editor option, the system generates a copy in a standard format for editing, preserving the original DOCX file without changes.
During conversion, some resources or formatting choices from the original document may be adjusted, changed, or not be totally compatible, which may result in small losses in content or style.
Comments in records
As of this version, the option of adding comments will be present in files and folders for interaction among users.
By accessing the Comments option in the side panel, it is possible to enter new comments and reply to existing topics.
Moreover, the options of mentioning users, liking, and resolving comments are available as well, which increases user engagement.
