Task center
The Task center is an evolution of the old My tasks menu, now with a more modern and efficient proposal.
Previously, the user needed to access different screens in order to execute activities such as revisions, revalidations, etc.
With the new Center, all tasks are gathered in a single optimized environment, which allows for a more fluid and centralized navigation.
This redesign brings about greater convenience to the day-to-day routine, as it allows for viewing, filtering, and executing tasks of different types in a single place.

Deletion of duplicate menus
To simplify navigation and avoid redundancy, menus that were available in more than one place in the system have been removed.
These deletions seek to make the experience more intuitive for users, preventing them from accessing different screens to perform the same operations.
In SoftExpert Capture version 3.0, the Document (CAP015) menu has been deleted, as there is an identical menu in SoftExpert Document, where the feature remains available.
Separation of the general parameters
The General parameters (CAP023) menu has been created in SoftExpert Capture to gather the specific configurations of this module.
In order to better organize the parameterizations and simplify maintenance, the general parameters of each module have been separated from SoftExpert Document and are now available directly in their respective environments.
This change facilitates management and prevents module-specific parameters from being concentrated externally.

Intelligent resources in the menus
In version 3.0, the system brings new intelligent resources to the Capture configuration type (CAP018) and Recognition profile type (CA019) menus.
Their layout has been maintained, but new resources that make the experience more practical and efficient have been added.
Now, it is possible to import records directly into the menu, which expedites data management, and to use the Ask AI feature, which uses artificial intelligence to aid in the creation of records.
These improvements enable a more efficient record maintenance, reducing the time spent on manual activities and increasing user productivity.


- The "Ask AI" feature will only be available to organizations that are Cloud customers and have SoftExpert Copilot.
- In order for this resource to work correctly, the AI features permission must be enabled in the Access group (CM011) menu.
File name capture
Now, in the recognition profile of SoftExpert Capture, it is possible to capture the name of a file directly from an index, without the extension.
This improvement expands the automation and integration possibilities, as it allows for using file names as input data in several steps of the capture process.
Use cases
- Use a captured value to fill out document metadata, attributes, or form fields.
- Apply the value to extraction functions or text break and to regular expressions in order to obtain specific parts of the file name.
- Send the captured value as parameter in external data sources, such as integrations via web service.

External data source in the recognition profile
SoftExpert Capture now allows for integrating external data sources – SOAP and REST web services – directly from the recognition profile.
With this feature, it is possible to use the value of a metadata to run automatic queries to third-party services, which makes the capture process more dynamic and intelligent.
Use case
From a CEP captured in a document, the system can automatically query a configured web service and return complementary information, such as address, neighborhood, and city, thus increasing automation and accuracy for data input.
How it works
The web service is configured in the recognition profile, where the parameters and returns are linked to their corresponding indexes, becoming an integral part of the capture flow natively.
Additionally, it is also possible to use the Dataset API, which allows for consuming the return of queries created within sets recorded in the system, which further expands the possibilities of integrating and using internal SoftExpert Suite information.
This evolution means greater scalability and flexibility, enabling simplified integrations with third-party applications and boosting intelligent data automation.
