What is an identification mask?
Introduction
SoftExpert Suite allows automating and standardizing ID #s and titles of the records created in the system through identification masks.
When creating a mask, a sequential pattern is created; all records that use it will be identified according to this pattern.
For example: in SoftExpert Document, it is possible to create a mask for the ID # with the "CONT-000X" structure for documents that will be contracts. Thus, this field will respect the sequence of CONT-0001, CONT-0002, CONT-0003, etc.
