Configure a default calendar
A calendar allows setting the organization's working days and hours, as well as regular break (weekends) and special periods (bank holidays).
Calendars can be used to check the availability of a resource, set timetables, schedule activities, etc.
To configure a default calendar, just follow the steps below:
1. Access the AD016 menu and click on the button.
2. On the screen that will open, fill in the ID # field with the "DC" value, and the Name field with "Default calendar".
Then, keep the Use default calendar field selected in order for the created calendar to be the default one for all components that make up SE Suite.
By default, Saturdays and Sundays are set as non-working days, and the other days, as working days.
3. If it is necessary to change this configuration, select the day and click on the button.
4. On the weekday data screen, keep the Working day and Time period options selected.
5. Add the start and end times, as shown in the image below.
6. To add exceptions, such as bank holidays, select the desired day and take the steps above.
7. Then, select the Non-working day option and type "Holiday" in the Description field.
8. After doing that, click on the button.
With these steps executed, the default calendar has been successfully configured!
