Introduction

The access request feature in SoftExpert Drive provides a convenient alternative for situations in which the user does not have permission to view a certain record.

When the user tries to access a record without authorization, the system informs them about the restriction and allows them to submit an access request. This request is sent to the owner of the record, who will be notified both via e-mail and the notification center.

 

Requesting access to records

1. Click on the sharing link for the record to which you do not have access.

2. Log in to the system, if necessary.

3. On the screen that will open, type a message requesting access to the file.

4. Click on Request.

5. The record's owner will be notified. Wait until they execute the request and allow the access.

6. Access the file again to view it. You will be notified both via e-mail and the notification center when access is allowed.

  • This action is valid for either files or folders.
  • The access request is saved in the record's history.
