Deleting records permanently
Prerequisites
- Access to the Drive (DR001) menu.
- Logged user as the owner of the record.
Introduction
The permanent deletion feature in SoftExpert Drive allows for definitively deleting files and folders stored in the recycle bin.
This operation can be performed manually, whether by individually deleting selected records or emptying the whole recycle bin at once.
The records are removed automatically once they reach their previously configured retention deadline, which ensures the environment is controlled and regularly cleaned.
Deleting records permanently
1. From the Drive (DR001) menu, access the Recycle bin vision.
2. Hover the mouse over the file or folder.
3. Click on the Delete permanently option and confirm the system message to finish.

Mass-deleting records
1. From the Drive (DR001) menu, access the Recycle bin vision.
2. Select the desired records.
3. Expand the Mass actions option that will be enabled.
4. Click on Delete permanently and confirm the system message to finish.
