Restoring records
Prerequisites
- Access to the Drive (DR001) menu.
- Logged user as the owner of the record.
Introduction
The restore feature in SoftExpert Drive allows for recovering files and folders that have been deleted and continue to be stored in the recycle bin.
The recycle bin is a space where deleted records are temporarily stored before being permanently removed. The deadline for retention in the recycle bin can be configured.
The restore option ensures flexibility in record management, making it possible to revert accidental deletions or recover content that is needed again.
Restoring records
1. From the Drive (DR001) menu, access the Recycle bin vision.
2. Hover the mouse over the file or folder.
3. Click on the Restore option that will be enabled.

Mass-restoring records
1. From the Drive (DR001) menu, access the Recycle bin vision.
2. Select the desired records.
3. Expand the Mass actions option that will be enabled.
4. Click on Restore to finish.

Conclusion
Restoring records from the recycle bin provides security and control over data stored in SoftExpert Drive. As long as they are in the recycle bin, files and folders can be recovered easily, returning to their place of origin and having their availability in the system re-established.
