Generating a training certificate

 

Prerequisites:

  • Previously created category with the "Training" control enabled.
  • SoftExpert Training must be part of the solutions acquired by the organization.
  • Access to the Configuration > Document > Template (DC039) menu.
  • Access to the Configuration > Document > Metadata export (DC052) menu.
  • Access to the Configuration > Document > Category (DC043) menu.
  • Access to the Execution > Training execution (TR009) menu.

 

Introduction

After finishing a training, it is possible to issue certificates as proof of employee training. The Document component allows users to generate certificates based on templates associated with the document category.

Templates are external files that work as a reference, being copied for each revision draft. In this case, it must be a blank certificate, which will work as a baseline to issue certificates for different employees. 

Thus, it is important to configure a metadata export to be associated with the template in the category, enabling the automatic completion of the certificate data, such as course name, participant, and instructor.
