In SoftExpert Risk, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used to generate risk records, insert detailed descriptions, and create action plans to mitigate identified risks. AI functionalities in SoftExpert Risk include, for example:
- Ask the AI : it helps in building and maintaining a risk catalog.
- AI Assistant and AI Commands : generate detailed descriptions of the risks recorded in the system.
This article will demonstrate the AI functionalities in SoftExpert Risk.
Generate records with AI
As an example, we will use the Risk screen from the Library menu , but the procedure is the same for all other SoftExpert Risk screens that offer AI functionalities.
1. To generate records using AI, go to the Library > Risk (RI455) menu.
2. Click on 
and then on Ask AI.
3. Select the type of risk for which records should be created and enter the desired instructions, such as: "Create a list of risks based on ISO 27000". If you would like suggestions, click on " Click here for more suggestions" to see examples of what you can ask the AI.
4. Click on Generate records.
5. The risks will be generated and displayed, showing the name, type, and description of each risk.
6. If you wish, you can: generate more records, change the AI generation parameters, export the records to a spreadsheet , or remove specific records.
7. Click Save records to process the data.
8. Click on Record Details to verify that the creation was successful. If any errors occur, you will be able to export the records with errors and make the necessary adjustments.
9. Click the Close button.
10. The generated records will be displayed in the listing.
The Ask AI feature can also be used to create actions for the plan, via My Tasks > Risk > Add action to treatment.

Generate descriptions with AI

1. To generate descriptions using AI, go to the Library > Risk (RI455) menu
2. For the registered risk for which you want to generate the description, click Open data.
3. In Description , click on AI Assistant .
4. Type the desired instruction, such as: "Generate description".
5. If the generated description is satisfactory, click Add. Otherwise, click Try again to generate a new description.
6. After clicking Include , the generated content will be automatically included in the description field.
7. To modify sections of the text, click on AI Commands. The available actions are:
- Summarize, Improve, Simplify, Expand, Refine, and Correct spelling.
- Change tone: Professional, Casual, Direct, Confident, and Friendly.
- Change style: Business, Legal, Journalistic, Medical, and Poetic.
8. Click on the desired action, and the content will be generated according to the selected option.
9. If the generated description is satisfactory, click Add. Otherwise, click Try again to generate a new description.
10. The generated content will be included in the description field.
