Prerequisites

• Assessment plan previously registered.
• To be a member of the team responsible for the evaluation plan.
• Access the My Tasks menu.

Presentation

The cycle of an evaluation plan represents the period in which employees will be evaluated according to the rules previously configured in the plan. 

Cycle planning is the stage where these settings are reviewed and adjusted before execution. Only after finalizing the planning can the cycle proceed to the next evaluation stages.

The evaluation plan cycle may or may not be started automatically. If the Frequency section of the evaluation plan is set to the Execution Date frequency type, the Evaluation Plan Opening task will be automatically generated for the users on the responsible team according to the frequency and anticipation defined in the plan. Otherwise, the responsible team must manually open the evaluation plan cycle via the Management > Evaluation Planning (CO008) menu .

Here are some ways to start planning a cycle:

Opening of the evaluation plan

1 - Access the menu My Tasks > Competency > Opening of evaluation plan .

2 - In the list of records, locate and select the assessment plan you wish to use.

3 - Click the button and choose one of the options:

• Evaluation planning : includes the cycle in the planning stage. On the screen that will open, enter the planned start and end dates and define a team responsible for the planning (in addition to the other required settings).
• Evaluation plan execution : includes the cycle directly in the execution phase. On the screen that will open, it will be possible to enter the start date of the execution and define a team responsible for the execution (in addition to other required settings).

In this article, we will select the Assessment Planning option so that the cycle is included in the planning stage.

4 - Next, the cycle data screen will be displayed. Most fields will already be filled with settings inherited from the assessment plan. Some information will be available for editing and can be adjusted in the sections presented on the screen.

5. After verifying the assessment plan settings and reviewing them, if desired, click the Save button to put the cycle in Planning status .

Include assessment planning.

1. Access the Management > Evaluation Planning (CO008) menu .

2. Use the search filters to locate and select the desired evaluation plan.

3. In the third quadrant, click the button to add a new plan cycle.

4. On the cycle data screen, fill in the required and optional fields in the General Data and Settings sections . Most of these fields should be filled in according to the registered assessment plan.

5. Fill in the Planning section with the start and end dates of the plan and the team responsible for the plan. Additionally, you can check the option "Start execution automatically on the planned start date" so that the plan's execution starts automatically on the planned start date. 

6. Click Save and Exit to place the evaluation plan in the planning stage.

Conclusion:

Now, it will be possible to generate the evaluations during the planning stage.
