Managing accounts
Prerequisite
- Access to the Configuration > Manage account (CM056) menu.
The Manage account (CM056) menu is available only for Enterprise and Regulated customers.
Introduction
SoftExpert Suite provides a screen that allows for setting all configurations necessary for the system administrator to be able to request and configure important parameters of their SaaS solution in an easier manner. Remember that this option is only available for customers that use a Cloud environment, that is, the SoftExpert cloud system.
The Manage account (CM056) menu gathers the management modules of SoftExpert Suite in the SaaS model.
See some operations available on this screen:
Backup request
Though this tab, the system admin user, or another user with the proper permissions, can request a database backup.
Requesting a backup
1. Access the Configuration > Manage account (CM056) menu.
2. Select the Backup tab.
3. Click on the Request backup button.

4. On the screen that will open, confirm the request by clicking on the Request backup button.

Once the request is confirmed, the Request backup button will be disabled.
It will be enabled again only if an error occurs in the server during the generation of the previous request, or 28 days after the last request.
For as long as the button remains disabled, the system will display the date on which the next request can be made.
Downloading the backup
Once the backup is completed, it will be displayed on the list of records in the Backup tab.
With the backup available, it is important to check its current status:
Awaiting for clearance | This status indicates that the request has been made and is awaiting clearance by the CLOUD team. |
Ready to download | This status indicates that the backup has been generated and is available for download. |
In progress | This status indicates that the request has been made and is already being prepared by the CLOUD team. |
Expired | This status indicates that the 10 days during which the backup remains available for download are over. |
Server error | This status indicates that there has been an error in the server. |
Invalid value | This status indicates that there has been an unmapped error. |
Only backups whose current status is Ready to download can be downloaded.
1. Click on the Download file button.

2. On the screen that will open, accept the download terms and click on the Download backup button.

3. Enter the necessary data to access the backup: host, access user, and .pem key for access to the backup.

The backup access data must be entered, since the download is carried out through an FTP client.
Conclusion
All done! Now you are familiar with the management screen of SoftExpert Suite in the SaaS model.
