Presentation
In the carrier registration menu, it is possible to register the carriers that will be used to transport supplies.
A freight forwarder is a company specialized in transporting cargo, and by registering their cargo in the system, the organization can optimize the logistics process, ensuring that materials are moved efficiently and safely.
See below how to register a shipping company:
Register carrier
1. Access the Registration > Carrier (SU031) menu .
2. Click the button
on the toolbar.
3. Select the type of company that will classify the carrier.
4. Provide an identifier and a name for the carrier.
5. If desired, use the indicated space to include an image that will represent the carrier.
6. Provide the carrier's address and use the city , state , country , and zip code fields to complete the information.
7. Fill in the phone , fax , and postal code fields to enter the carrier's contact information.
8. Enter the carrier's website in the Home page field , using the button
to verify that the page entered is valid.
9. Select the Lat/Log option to enter the carrier's geographic coordinates, or select the UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) option to enter the data in UTM coordinates.
10. Enter a description of the shipping company.
11. Click Save to unlock the remaining settings.

Include carrier contact information.
After saving the record for the first time, the Contact tab will be enabled. Here, you can provide the names of the people who will serve as points of contact between the manufacturer and your organization.

3. In the Contact field , enter the name of the partner collaborator.
4. If necessary, include an image of the contact.
5. In the Area field , specify the area of the organization in which the contact works.
6. In the Function field , enter the function performed by the contact.
6. Include the contact's phone number , fax number , and email address in the available fields.
7. Check the box "Use as default company contact?" if you want this contact to become the default contact.
