SoftExpert OKR general parameters

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Configuration > General parameters (OK011) menu.
  • Previously configured attributes.

 

Introduction

The General parameters menu is used to set the component's default configurations, applicable to all records created in your system. These settings can facilitate the use of the available features.

Configuring the general parameters

1. Access the Configuration > General parameters (OK011) menu.

2. Parameterize the system according to the desired resources. The following sections are available:

  • Check-in: in this section, check the Comment required for check-in option to make comments mandatory during the check-in.
  • Attribute: add or associate attributes to the objective and/or key result. To allow additional fields to be completed on the objective data screen, access the Objective tab and click on the button to associate an attribute. To allow additional fields to be completed on the key result data screen, access the Key result tab and click on the button to associate an attribute.

Attributes configured for the objectives and key results will be applied to the data screens of all objects, without individual customization. This includes previously created records, regardless of status.

Defining the default value of the attribute

For extra fields to be shown with a value already inserted in the objects, follow the steps below:

1. Access the Configuration > General parameters (OK011) menu.

2. Go to the desired attribute tab: Objective or Key result.

3. In the displayed list of attributes, locate the attribute to which you wish to set a default value.

4. Enter the default value to the field available on the row of the chosen attribute.

5. Click on to apply the changes.

 

Editing the attribute sequence

To reorganize the display order of the attributes, perform the following steps:

1. Access the Configuration > General parameters (OK011) menu.

2. Go to the desired attribute tab: Objective or Key result.

3. In the list of attributes shown, adjust the number of the Seq. attribute column to change their order.

4. Click on to apply the changes.

 
 

3. After performing all the desired parameterizations, click on the toolbar button.

The parameterizations performed will be applied to all records in the system from now on!
