Adding comments to SoftExpert OKR

 

Prerequisites

  • User with permission for the Objective > Execution or Planning menus in SoftExpert Configuration > Configuration > Access group (CM011).
  • Access to the objective or key result screen on edit mode.

 

Introduction

The evolution of online interconnectivity has impacted communication significantly. The Comment feature is used to display this trend, involving users in discussions and providing a richer, more engaging experience in corporate processes.

 

Before learning how to leave comments, access this feature in the desired object:

 

Leaving comments on objectives

1. Access the Objective (OK002) menu.

2. Hover the mouse over the desired objective and click on the Open data button that will be displayed.

3. On the objective data screen, click on the Comments tab.

 

Leaving comments on key results

1. Access the Objective (OK002) menu.

2. Hover the mouse over the desired objective and click on the Open data button that will be displayed.

3. On the objective data screen, click on the Key results tab.

4. On the key result summary screen, click on the Comments tab.

 

After opening the Comments tab of the desired object, perform the available actions described below as desired:

 

Adding comments

1. Fill out the available field.

2. To mention other users, use @ and choose the person you wish to tag. Mentioned users will be notified by the notification center.

3. Click on Send or press Enter on the keyboard.

 

Replying to and liking comments

1. Click on the Comment button on the comment to which you wish to reply.

2. Fill out the field that will be displayed and press Enter on the keyboard.

3. To like, click on the Like button on the desired comment.

Replying and liking are features available only on open conversations, and only on main comments, not their replies.

 

 

Deleting comments

1. Hover the mouse over a comment or reply you have written.

2. Click on the Delete button that will be displayed.

 

Checking a comment as resolved

1. Click on the Resolve button on the desired comment.

By checking a comment as resolved, it indicates that it does not require replies or that the associated discussion has reached a satisfactory conclusion. This feature aims to easily identify topics that have already been solved.

Viewing conversations fully

Upon accessing the comment section with more than one reply to the same comment, only the latest reply is displayed at first.

To access all replies, follow the steps below:

1. Locate the desired comment with several replies and click on See more comments.

2. After reading all expanded replies, return to the general overview by clicking on Return to all comments.

 

Notifications

In the notification center, users can receive two types of alerts:

  • Reply to comment: once a comment receives a reply, the user receives a notification with information on the author of the reply and a direct link to the comment screen.
  • Mention in comment: once mentioned in comments or replies, users receive a notification with a link to the comment screen.

 

Editing comments

It is possible to edit both comments and replies posted by the user, allowing those that have not been checked as resolved to be adjusted.

1. Hover the mouse over the desired comment or reply.

2. Click on the Edit button that will be displayed.

 

Reopening comments

Once the comment has been resolved, it is possible to reopen it. To do that:

1. Locate the comment.

2. Click on Reopen to reactivate the comment.
