Executing an asset location
Prerequisites
- Access to the Execution > Location (AS018) menu.
- Previously created asset.
- Previously created location.
Introduction
The Execution > Location (AS018) menu allows asset locations to be updated regularly. This resource is important for the locations of the assets to be always up-to-date in their records.
The location of an asset can also be added via its data screen.
An asset can be associated with a location, such as a machine or address, and with a user, such as when a laptop is loaned out to an employee.
The second quadrant of the location execution menu displays the assets saved in the system. When a record is selected, the locations associated with the asset are displayed in the third quadrant.

Executing an asset location
1. Access the Execution > Location (AS018) menu.
2. Find and select the desired asset on the list of records of the second quadrant.
3. Click on the toolbar button of the third quadrant.
4. On the screen that will open, edit the date and time when the asset condition is being added, if necessary.
5. Check the User option to indicate whether the asset is currently with a system user. In this case, select the user in question.
6. Check the Location option to indicate that the asset is currently at a location. In this case, select the location in question.
7. Check the Geographic coordinates option to enter the asset location geographic coordinates.
8. Add a relevant description about the location.
9. Click on the button to finish.
At least one of the options (User, Location, and Geographic coordinates) must be checked so that it is possible to execute the asset location.
