SoftExpert Asset widgets
Prerequisite
- Access to the SoftExpert Suite portal menu.
Introduction
Portals aim to transform large amounts of data into graphic panels.
When creating a portal, you can add widgets to display information in a simpler manner or to allow for performing operations faster, without the need to navigate through multiple menus.

Quick actions
This widget allows the user to create shortcuts in order to access system menus.
Click on it, drag it and drop it in the desired panel area.
When you place the mouse over the widget, in its upper right corner, options that allow it to be copied and deleted are displayed.
Once the portal editing screen is closed, quick actions will be displayed as a card:
Asset
- Create new asset
- Edit asset
- Add revision
- Edit location
- Enter asset condition
- Create downtime record
Operations
- Create event
- New task
- Create request
- Read variable
- Read meter
Activity analysis
This widget allows the user to check maintenance, calibration, and verification activity information in a centralized way, without the need to create different analyses among the components.
With this feature, the user will be able to define visions with several pieces of activity information, such as cost, location, programming and execution dates, executors, and deadline.
Since the analysis uses the SoftExpert Analytics engine, the user is able to edit it according to their needs, changing the analysis type, the charts, groupings, and filters, for example.
Open x closed activities
This widget will graphically display the amount of open and closed activities, grouped according to the configured period, and may even be cumulative.
Click on it, drag it and drop it in the desired panel area.
At this point, the system will display the screen that allows for configuring the information to be displayed:
- Title: Edit the field to customize the widget name.
- Display data of the last: Enter the number of days, weeks, months, or years that covers the date on which the activities were opened or closed.
- Accumulated period: Check this option to display the accumulated number of activities on the chart. Otherwise, the accumulated number of activities will not be displayed.
- Display activities of: Check which activity types will be presented. Otherwise, the activity type will not be displayed in the widget listing.
With the configuration finished, click on Save.
When you place the mouse over the widget, in its upper right corner, options that allow for copying it, editing its configurations, or deleting it will be displayed.
After closing the portal editing, a listing will be displayed according to the defined configurations for the logged user. If they are part of the team responsible for the step the activity is in, it can be executed directly through the widget.
Stopped assets
This widget makes it possible to list all the assets that have open downtime record.
Click on it, drag it and drop it in the desired panel area.
When you place the mouse over the widget, in its upper right part, options that allow for copying or deleting it are displayed.
Once the portal editing screen is closed, a list with stopped assets will be shown.
When you place the mouse over an asset, buttons that allow for viewing the asset data and the downtime record data will be shown. If the logged user is part of the team responsible for the record, they can end the downtime directly from the widget.
Activity backlog
Displays a list with the activities that are open in the system (maintenance, verification, and calibrations).
Click on it, drag it and drop it in the desired panel area.
Once this is done, you can configure it using the link provided or the button located in the upper right corner.
On the screen that will open, the following fields are available:
- Title: Edit the field to customize the widget name.
- Display activities of: Define which activity types will be presented: Calibration, Programmed maintenance, Corrective maintenance, Preventive maintenance, Maintenance route, and Verification. Otherwise, the activity type will not be displayed in the widget.
With the configuration finished, click on Save.
When you place the mouse over the widget, in its upper right corner, options that allow for copying it, editing its configurations, or deleting it will be displayed.
After closing the portal editing, a listing will be displayed according to the defined configurations for the logged user. If they are part of the team responsible for the step in which the activity is, they can execute the activity directly from the portal.
Indicators
This widget displays the MTBF, MTTF, MTTR, and Availability indicators, according to the period and asset type defined in the configuration.
Click on it, drag it and drop it in the desired panel area.
At this point, the system will display the screen that allows for configuring the information to be displayed:
- Title: Edit this field to customize the widget name.
- Display data of the last: Enter the number of days, weeks, months, or years that comprehends the period of the indicators you wish to display.
- Asset type: Click on this field and select the asset type whose indicators you wish to display, or type the name of the desired asset type and press ENTER on your keyboard. Use the button next to the field to clear it.
- Display lower level records: Check this option so that the subtypes of the selected type are also considered when indicators are displayed. If it is not checked, only the asset selected in the field will be considered, even if it has subtypes.
With the configuration finished, click on Save.
When you place the mouse over the widget, in the upper right corner, options that allow for copying it, editing its configurations, and deleting it will be displayed.
After closing portal editing, the indicators will be displayed graphically according to the configurations performed.
Status of calibration/maintenance requests
This widget will display a chart with the status of the calibration and maintenance requests, according to the configured period.
Click on it, drag it and drop it in the desired panel area. At this point, the system will display the screen that allows configuring the information to be displayed:
- Title: Edit this field to customize the widget name.
- Display data of the last: Enter the number of days, weeks, months, or years that covers the requests whose statuses will be displayed on the chart.
With the configuration finished, click on Save.
When you place the mouse over the widget, in its upper right corner, options that allow for copying it, editing its configurations, or deleting it will be displayed.
After closing portal editing, the request statuses will be displayed graphically according to the configurations performed.
Asset status
This widget displays a chart with all the statuses related to the asset (under calibration, maintenance, verification, available, or checked out for use, maintenance, or calibration). By clicking on the corresponding option in the chart, the user will have access to a list with the related assets.
Plan activity projection widget
Widget for activity tracking.
With this widget, it is possible to monitor how the execution of the activities of the plans is going, compared to the number of activities that should have been executed within a certain period.
The widget projects activities according to the plan frequency and shows the activities that have been executed already, generating a plan completion percentage.
This feature makes it easier to check if the execution frequency of the plans are being met, based on what has been planned for the equipment.
