Prerequisites

• Access the View > Item (IT016) menu.
• Access the View > Revision (IT017) menu. 
• Access the View > Customer (IT019) menu.
• Access the View > Manufacturer (IT020) menu.
• Access the View > Supplier (IT021) menu.
• Access the View > To-do tasks (IT022) menu.

Presentation

The view menus are available to facilitate the control of records and the viewing of registered information.

See the available views in SoftExpert PDM:

View item

It allows you to perform quick and efficient searches of items registered in the system.

1. Access the View > Item (IT016) menu.

2. In the search filters panel, click Select type and select the type of item you want to search for.

3. Click Apply.

4. Select the desired item and click the button to view its details.

View revision

It allows you to perform quick and efficient searches of item reviews.

1. Access the View > Revision (IT017) menu. 

2. In the search filters panel, click Select type and select the type of item you want to search for.

3. Click Apply.

4. Select the desired review and click the button to view your data.

View customer

It allows you to perform quick and efficient searches of customers registered in the system.

1. Access the View > Customer (IT019) menu.

2. In the search filters panel, click Select type and select the type of item you want to search for.

3. Click Apply.

4. Select the desired client and click the button to view their data.

View manufacturer

It allows you to perform quick and efficient searches of manufacturers registered in the system.

1. Access the View > Manufacturer (IT020) menu.

2. In the search filters panel, click Select type and select the type of item you want to search for.

3. Click Apply.

4. Select the desired manufacturer and click the button to view their data.

View supplier

It allows you to perform quick and efficient searches of suppliers registered in the system.

1. Access the View > Supplier (IT021) menu.

2. In the search filters panel, click Select type and select the type of item you want to search for.

3. Click Apply.

4. Select the desired supplier and click the button to view their details.

View tasks

Allows you to view the tasks of SoftExpert PDM users. This query enables, for example, leaders to verify if their team members are completing tasks within the stipulated deadline.

1. Access the View > To-do tasks (IT022) menu.

2. In the search filters panel, click Select a task type.

3. In the section that opens, fill in the filters with the data for the tasks you wish to consult and click SEARCH.

4. Select or deselect the task types corresponding to the tasks you wish to view and click Apply.

5. Next, tasks of the selected types will be displayed in the results list.

6. Select the desired task and click the button to view its data.

• Use other toolbar features to view more details about the records:

	Expand this button and select the desired SoftExpert Analytics feature to analyze the query results.
	Expand this button to configure and generate query reports and other report options available in the menu.
