Prerequisite

Introduction
The system generates records for users to perform specific actions, called tasks. These are divided into two categories: Execution and Monitoring .
Follow-up tasks do not need to be performed by the user, although the user is responsible for them. SoftExpert PDM does not have follow-up tasks.
On the other hand, execution tasks need to be completed by the user within a defined timeframe.
See details of SoftExpert PDM tasks below:
Execution tasks
| Who receives | Responsible for handling the request, as defined by its type or at the time of its issuance. For this task to be generated, the SoftExpert Request component must be part of the solutions acquired by the organization. |
| When | The issuance/approval stage (as configured) has been completed by the appropriate parties in the SoftExpert Request component. |
| Purpose | Allow those in charge to receive the item order. |
| Who receives | Users who are members of the team responsible for the item that needs to be reviewed. |
| When | The issuance/approval stage (as configured) has been completed by the appropriate parties in the SoftExpert Request component. |
| Purpose | Allow those in charge to address requests for item revisions. |
| Who receives | Users who are members of the item review interest group. |
| When | After the review of an item is completed. |
| Purpose | To alert users about an item's revision and the existence of a new version of it. |
| Who receives | The team responsible for the item created from an item family that has undergone review. The deadline for this task is defined in the General Parameters. |
| When | Upon completion of the item family review, all items created from that family will receive the item family revalidation task. |
| Purpose | Please note that items created from an item family need to be revalidated due to the item family revision. |
| Who receives | The team responsible for the child item (or item that is one level below in the structure) of an item that has undergone review. The deadline for this task is defined in the General Parameters. |
| When | Upon completion of the review of the parent item, all child items, that is, all items that are one level below the structure of the reviewed item, will receive the item revalidation task. |
| Purpose | Alert that items associated with an item structure need to be revalidated due to the parent item's revision. |
| Who receives |
The team responsible for the item/item family to which the process is associated. The deadline for completing this task is defined in the General Parameters. If the item family has an associated process, the items created from that family will not receive the process revalidation task, as the item family will be revalidated. These items will only receive this task if a process associated with them subsequently undergoes review. |
| When | Upon completing the review of the process associated with the items or item family. |
| Purpose | Please be advised that items or families of items need to be revalidated due to a process review. |
| Who receives |
ISO9001 model : users defined as participants in the review roadmap associated with the item type. Workflow review : users defined as executors of the workflow activity. |
| When |
ISO9000 model : Elaboration : when starting a new review or when a participant rejects a review step. Consensus/Approval/Ratification : after the author releases their task. Closure : after the execution of the last review step defined in the roadmap. This step will only be generated if the "Manual" option is selected in the "Review Publication" field of the review data. Workflow review : when starting a new review or when it's time for an activity to be executed, according to the process flow. |
| Purpose | Perform the item review. |
The consensus, approval, and certification stages of the ISO9001 model revision are optional, and the responsible parties receive them in exactly that order.
Conclusion
These are the SoftExpert PDM tasks, which disappear from the task menu as they are executed or completed.
